Oksana showing her white teeth

Office Manager

Oksana was originally a registered nurse in Russia. Her first dental visit in the U.S. was surprisingly positive and anxiety-free, inspiring her to join the dental field. After completing the Century College hygiene program, Oksana evolved in her role at Stillwater Family Dental, and her favorite part of the job is our great patients!

As the office manager, Oksana works hard to educate our visitors, help reduce dental anxiety, and guide patients on their journey to improved oral health. She’s very driven and even in her downtime, you can find her helping out the hygienists or making patient calls at the front desk. Outside of the office, Oksana enjoys traveling with family, reading, yoga, and long walks.

Becky smiling

Alice showing her bright smile

Dental Hygienist

I live in Stillwater, but grew up in Lakeland. I have many friends that live in the St. Croix Valley. I love the St. Croix River and have a great interest in improving the water quality and the shoreline. I also enjoy neighborhood walks and winter skiing.

I chose dentistry because my mother was a dental hygienist in the early years of dental hygiene. I worked for a dental office in high school and enjoyed the work, I also felt that the dentists valued my mother’s position and her work. The best part of my job is being part of a health care team that believes oral health is a part of your total health.

Ashley showing her bright smile

Dental Hygienist

Ashley graduated from Normandale Community College in 2013. She strives to make all patients feel comfortable and welcome while educating them about great dental care. Cara showing her bright smile

Dental Hygienist

Cara worked in the corporate world before following her passion in the dental field. She loves connecting with people and feels honored to make dentist visits more enjoyable for patients.

Outside of work, Cara loves to travel with family and friends, listen to murder mystery podcasts while walking the dog, support locally-owned restaurants, and play cribbage.

Fun fact: She spent eight years as a synchronized swimmer.

 Monika showing her bright smile

Dental Hygienist

Monika was born in Poland, moved to the U.S. in 2000, and received her dental hygienist degree from the College of DuPage in 2016. She enjoys working with people of all ages and educating them about oral health for a more beautiful and confident smile. In her free time, Monika spends time riding her bike, gardening, and boating on the St. Croix river.

Maija showing her bright smile

Dental Hygienist

Maija started her career as a dental assistant and transitioned into her current role as a hygienist. She loves interacting with patients and building long-term relationships. In her free time, Maija enjoys being with family and friends, football, and boating and fishing on the lake. Fun fact: Her bucket list includes a family trip to Latvia so her husband and kids can experience the culture.

Sara, our Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist

Sara and her husband are new to the area, but they love living near the river and enjoy taking their son and two dogs for long hikes and exploration. In the summer, they love relaxing at their family cabin on Big Sandy Lake.

Sara enjoys helping people care for their mouths better by educating and teaching patients about oral hygiene; she truly has a passion for it!

In her free time, Sara enjoys going out for a nice meal and trying new restaurants, weekend trips to new cities, and paddleboarding with her husband.

Lavey showing his bright smile

Dental Assistant

Lavey was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. He is the second youngest of 8 children, and has been married for four years. Lavey chose dentistry because good oral hygiene has always been important to him, it motivates him to help restore the oral health and transform the lives of others. He loves meeting patients from all walks of life.

Outside of the office, Lavey spends time with his family, travels, and enjoys outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. You’ll also be able to find him at the bowling alley on some week nights.

Gail showing her bright smile

Gail’s grandfather was a dentist and inspired her to join the dentistry field. Her favorite part of the job is working with our team and building relationships with patients. In her free time, Gail enjoys traveling with her family and going four-wheeling. Her favorite quote is, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”

Robin showing her bright smile

She loves getting to know patients and helping them feel more comfortable. In her free time, Robin enjoys spending time with her family and animals, vacationing in FL, and camping. Her favorite quote: “Not all who wander are lost.”

Rowela showing her bright smile

Rowela lives in Somerset, WI with her boyfriend Vinny, and her cat, Sandrine. Originally from the Philippines, she migrated here in January 2017. In 2016, Rowela visited as an exchange student in Wisconsin Dells for a couple months. There she worked as an intern in a hotel and got the chance to meet people from all over the world – it was one of the best experiences she’s had here in the United States.

Before starting a career in dentistry, Rowela worked as a nursing assistant for more than 4 years. Helping people has always been her passion.

In her free time, Rowela enjoys traveling and going to nature-friendly places (especially the beach!). She also loves going out to eat and trying new food or cooking at home.

Sami showing her bright smile

Outside of the office, Sami and her family love to spend time at their cabin in Danberry. She also enjoys spending time in her garden at home.
